Agile estimation, without the overhead
What is ScrumPoker?
ScrumPoker, also known as Planning Poker, is a collaborative technique for estimating the effort or complexity of a user story. Each team member chooses a card independently and every estimate is revealed at the same time.
Different votes reveal assumptions, risks and details worth discussing. After sharing context, the team can vote again until everyone understands the final estimate.

Frequently asked questions
Before you start a session
Is this online ScrumPoker free?+
Yes. ScrumPoker lets you create a room and run complete estimation sessions without paying, entering a credit card or installing software. The facilitator shares a room link or code, and the team can start estimating immediately from a desktop, tablet or phone.
Can my team join without signing up?+
Yes. Participants do not need to create a traditional account, provide an email address or remember a password. They open the room link, enter a display name and choose whether to vote or observe; ScrumPoker creates a temporary anonymous session in the background so room access remains secure.
Can we vote without adding a ticket?+
Yes. Every new room starts in free-voting mode, so the team can choose cards as soon as everyone joins. Adding a ticket or user-story title is optional and is useful only when you want the estimate and discussion to have more context.
Which card values are available?+
The default deck uses the modified Fibonacci sequence 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 and 21. It also includes a question-mark card for uncertainty and a coffee card for requesting a break or indicating that the item should not be estimated yet.
Why are estimates hidden?+
Estimates remain hidden so the first visible number cannot anchor or influence the rest of the team. When the facilitator reveals the cards, every vote appears simultaneously together with the average and consensus status, making outliers easier to discuss before starting another round.
